Cardo Unveils New Products at EICMA 2013

EICMA 2013 has finally arrived and we are excited to introduce four new products to the market – three new motorcycle communication systems and a first-ever Cardo mobile app.

Last week, we shared with you our new collaboration with SHOEI and the cardo SHO-1 communication system, custom-designed to fit SHOEI helmets. The cardo SHO-1 is a market-first introducing a unique design, replaceable battery and easy installment without any mechanical clamps or glue!

Having said that, the SHO-1 is only one of the new products we are happy to introduce at EICMA and now it’s time to tell you all about the new scala rider© G9x and the new scala rider© Qz!

The scala rider G9x is the new leader of the scala rider line, far more advanced than any previous model launched. This long-range Bike-to-Bike communication system introduces great new features, such as dual mobile phone connection, Music Sharing™, iPhone battery status notification, on-the-go charging and so much more.

We are also happy to introduce a new member to the scala rider Q-Series, the scala rider Qz specifically designed for motorcyclists who usually travel alone. The Qz includes hands-free mobile phone, GPS and music connectivity options.

But that’s not all. To enrich our customer’s riding experience even more, we created the first ever Cardo mobile app we call “SmartSet”. This new and free Android™ application allows users to easily customize their settings on-the-go. For example, users can enable / disable spoken status announcements, preset 6 FM radio stations or adjust AGC and VOX sensitivity levels.

Sounds good doesn’t it? All new products are on display at the Cardo Systems stand – Hall 4, booth Q62– so if you are in the area, make sure to say hello!
