This is the best thing I have ever owned. The convenience of bluetooth for both listening and communications. Great for group bike rides where two guides are needed to keep the group together and communicating to the front what is happening in the rear of the ride. Great on both road and mountain bike rides. The access of a communicator like the cardo BK-1 is essential on all rides but most of all for long distance rides. Thank you very much.
I am very pleased with the performance of my Cardo scala rider TeamSet Pro headset. I can safely answer calls (hands-free) on long trips, which is huge for me; and the clarity is awesome. I tried a competitor’s model, and paid big bucks for it, but never achieved a level of comfort using it, so my hat is off to the Cardo Systems, and thanks for making my long distance riding aboard my BMW R1200RT much more enjoyable.
Thank you for the scala rider. It has helped so much over the past week. We managed to fix it to the helmets and it was very comfortable. We could ski down the mountain without having to shout at the tops of our voices all the way down. My skiing really improved thanks to it and I managed to go down a red run for the first time. I really appreciate your help. Best wishes, James. (James is 11 years old and registered blind)
While on a cross country trip from PA and traveling at approximately 70 mph on my 650 V-Strom last summer in Wyoming, my son said over the Q-2 Scala rider “Dad, watch out”! an antelope had jumped the fence on my right as I was looking to my left; had I not hit the breaks with this warning from my son, I would have hit the antelope dead on. The Q2 Scala rider communicators saved me from something really bad happening; Regardless, these devices proved their weight in gold and possibly save my life.
My Dad and I recently started riding together and last year we took a trip a crossed the country. While on this trip, the owner of the Suzuki dealership that we got our bikes from let us borrow his Scala Rider Q2s, and they really helped to make the trip a lot better. To be able to communicate while riding helped us to see things that the other would have missed.
