Packtalk Pro/Edge 2nd Helmet Kit - Sound by JBL

I use the Cardo headsets for my SxS. These are great to flawlessly switch between my headset and helmet without missing a beat.

Excellent product

Finally getting around to fitting the new Edge units in the helmets. The JBL 40mm speakers in the Edge, Pro, etc fit my Arai XD4 / Tour-Cross3, Astro GX, just fine. I think the stand alone JBL 45mm speaker. upgrade may be to big. The 40mm JBL speakers quality over standard Cardo speakers is best noticed without earplugs. I ride with earplugs so in that aspect sound bit better or similar. The Edge unit itself easy to use. The voice commends quite friendly if you remember them. So impressed I purchased 2 extra helmet kits so I can easily swap the Edge Comm module to the other helmets. Kinda renders my old Cardo units obsolete. However still have them in other helmets. I do recommend both the Edge and the 2nd helmet kits as a longtime Cardo user from 2013 Scala rider unit days. Purchased directly from Cardo when units were on sale. Shipped to me internationally and received promptly. Will continue to buy the Cardo products.

I installed one in my Castle CX935 helmet. It already had the cutouts for the Cardo helmet kit. Because of the easy install, we ordered a new helmet for my wife and I installed a new helmet kit for her too. We’ve been using the Cardo Edgephones for over a year now and love it.
I completed an overland ATV trip from Central MN to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. All 12 members of our group were using Cardo and it made the 1,200 mile trip so much better.

It is nice to utilize a 2nd helmet kit. I would recommend that the speakers be upgraded to 45 instead of the 40’s that come in the pkg.

We love our Cardo system, my husband and I both have three helmets, (2 for dirt and a street bike), and after our initial purchase, we had to have the communication for all of our riding scenarios!

As expected, solid build quality and very easy to install on my second helmet.

I can’t imagine that any other manufacturer of helmet communication systems can beat the cardio pac-talk edge, IT DOES IT ALL!!!

When I got it 1 speaker would not work. Customer service sent out a new one. Couple of hoops to jump thru but got it handled. So far really liking my PackTalk Edge. Cant wait to try it on my snow mobile.

great safety mechanism.It is very helpful when you are snowmobiling with others as well as riding SBS or ATV as it enables you to keep in touch with other riders in your pack as it relates to oncoming traffic and/or obstacles in the area.
