Spirit

Works great so far. I haven’t linked with anyone else yet but should be doint that this weekend.

What I like about this basic Cardo Spirit system it just works. It has long battery life, connects to phone and another rider ( limited). I listen to music, talk on the phone, and use my Google assistant to help navigate. The range on this Cardo Spirit system is not great ~ 1km (.5 miles ) range.Pros:- affordable- it works with phone and 1 more rider- one tap voice control with phone assistant setupCons- range is rather short- tends to disconnect and reconnect at times.- speakers are not the loudest.

I bought this to ride with my friend and it works perfectly and has a pretty decent battery life and good sound quality.the only thing I would say to look out for is if you are wanting to ride in groups this isn’t the one to go for because this model can only pair to one other rider at a time.

So I love the Cardo system and their support team but the radio option on other models is kinda lacking so that why I decided to get JUST the basic set for this helmet for rides as I already have audio on the bike so..... fantastic use of the cellphone calls is the real reason why I purchased this

Amazing! Great bang for your buck communicator. Haven’t used on a ride with my gf yet which is why I got it… but I’ve used for music and a phone call and it worked well. Every so often a little stutter but for 80 bucks it’s a steal. 1000 times recommend for any two up couple or someone who just wants to jam to music.. Bluetooth is goood and durability is solid. My other one is a packtalk bold but tbh I like the seamless style of this one. If you’re thinking bout it. Just buy it already. Probably not the best for two separate riders but I haven’t tried that either yet.

I bought this because it is easily removed from the cradle for safe keeping. I am actually considering buying a second cradle and speakers for my second helmet.

Primarily bought it to pair up with my riding friend's comm. Haven't used it for that yet so I'll update my review when I do.Meanwhile, installation was easy. Pairs easily with my S10. Music sounded fine at moderate volume. I don't intend to crank it up. I only need music to be in the background. Update: audio quality is good at all volumes.Also don't intend to talk on calls while riding. However, I tested it while walking around outside with my helmet on. My friend said I sounded clear and I could hear them clearly as well.I like the simplicity of the unit with the 4 buttons that are accessible even with gauntlets on.Entire rig added about 8.5 oz to my helmet.Haven't tested battery life fully, but it was fine on an hour ride.Overall, for the price and my intended use, it fits my needs. I ride mostly alone. The few times I ride with my friend, I'm counting on it to work fine pairing to what ever comm they're using. UPDATE: pairs easily with my friend's other brand unit. Sounds good, easy to communicate during rides with him.Update: I bought 3 and probably buying a 4th, 2 for my HJC helmets, 1 for my son's AGV, 1 for my AGV.Note: installed the speakers without the mounting pads. The pads added too much thickness and speakers pressed hard on my ears in my HJC C91. The cheek pads hold them in just fine without velcro. Plus I like the ability for them to move around freely if I want to adjust position without unvelcroing all the time.

Affordable intercom amazing sound

For the money the Cardo Spirit is great. I rated it low on noise cancellation as it really doesn’t have any. Given the cost I’m OK with this.Installation wasn’t bad. I did spend some time on Arai’s Website and YouTube channel gaining a better understanding of how to disassemble Arai Helmets (time very well spent.)It’s worth mentioning that the Signet-X cheek pads do have a space for speakers. There’s are round cutouts for speakers that have a very thin bit of foam attached at on spot. Put the speakers in the cutouts and put the thin foam over them to help hold them in place. It doesn’t seem to impact the sound quality at all.I have made calls with it and have gotten comments that I sound good. My wife even said she never would have guessed I was on a bike.I had a UClear unit on my Old Signet-Q. This unit was comparable in installation difficulty and cost less than my old unit. It sounded as good and was physically smaller.The tactile controls on the Spirit are one of the best features. You can feel them easily through riding gloves. It also charges faster and has a longer run time.

I love this thing audio is amazing and if u have it set right u won’t be able to hear anything outside your helmet. Depending on ur helmet you might have to increase volume as you increase speed for wind noise but the is definitely a bang for ur buck com here though like all com systems it’s an absolute pain to connect to others and I haven’t been successful connecting it.

Makes riding so much easier and don’t have to worry about headphones falling

I was a little apprehensive buying an “entry level” unit for my helmet. Having no experience with Cardo units, I purchased the Spirit and could not be happier!! It does everything I expected and more. Easy to install and set up, simple controls, and sounds great with music and phone calls. Highly recommend the Spirit for someone that wants the simple functions of a Bluetooth unit for their helmet.

you can’t really hear anything if the wind is up. if you connect with another rider you can’t listen to music.

I wanted a unit mainly for music as I ride a scooter alone. I am in Australia and the local chain store heavily steered me towards the expensive products, saying that the Spirit was not great for music.
Well, I ordered from Germany (still cheaper than locally despite the delivery fee !); well the sounds i great and loud.
Bass is enough and much better than cheap eBay/Temu rubbish.
My helmet only take 30mm speaker so I had no choice BUT i do not regret the purchase. That's the SPIRIT! LOL

Was dirtbiking in the woods with my 12 yr old son when my wife called asking for IT help. I patched him in to the call without stopping, and he walked her through hooking up the Nintendo for his little brother - while we were ripping through the woods! We can talk, but it cuts out background noise when we don't. Only gripe is limited range in the woods. If you ride with anyone, you both need these!

Install was a little tough on my wife's shark helmet. The wires have leads with connectors and there was no room to tuck them away. I had to locate them on top of her head which concerns me in the event of a crash.

So far I have 8 hours trying to successfully pair with each other and my android google phone. I have watched ALL you tube videos, they dont seem to apply to my SPirit headsets!

I bought this for the Bluetooth audio for music. I use some cheaper in ear monitors and this thing powers them excellent. For some reason my phone and bmw s1000rrwon't connect at the same time.I'm able to switch songs on the bike but no volume control. Maybe the bike need a firmware update but this unit does what I had hoped. I mounted it to my tank bag so I can just plug in and go. I use the volume buttons on the unit itself.

The ease of installation is perfect for those who are dumb enough to think sitting directly on top of an engine at Mach Jesus is a good idea. Great sound quality and it doesn’t look too bad either.

Great product.

great sound quality, really easy to install, feels sturdy once installed. My only real gripe is that the controls aren't very comfortable imo but I'm sure I'll get more used to them eventually
