The only reason for 4 stars is that the speakers lack bass in them but super awesome otherwise

2ème cardo et toujours la même qualité de son, simplicité d'installation et d'utilisation. 2 étoiles en moins néanmoins car : Mauvaise intégration avec un NOLAN N100-6 modulable qui réserve un emplacement pour le micro à droite et non à gauche. Le fil du micro n’est pas assez long pour faire le tour du casque. Résultat, une intégration médiocre du micro. Pas de possibilité de « rallonge » d’après le service client. Acheté pour constituer un duo avec un Cardo Freecom 2+ qui a la même ergonomie physique, il s’avère complétement différent dans l’attribution de touches. Ce qui rend l’utilisation peu intuitive, devant passer d’une manipulation à l’autre selon le modèle utilisé. Quid d’une mise à jour du Freecom 2+ ?

Este intercom es muy completo, tiene radio fm, puedes escuchar música desde tu celular a través de la app, yo lo uso con Spotify y va de maravilla, el uso del teléfono en llamadas puede llegar a tener un poco de ruido el sonido pero la calidad en general es buena, buen nivel de duración de la batería, excelente compra sin duda

This specific Cardo is direct, and easy to use. When talking on the phone I never have any problems hearing, or being heard. It was fairly simple to install as well. It’s a little pricey, but very worth it if you ask me.

Always wanted to install a Bluetooth headset in my helmet. After reading some reviews the Cardo spirit HD was the one for me. Couldn't beat the price. Sounds great. Haven't tested the phone , but the radio works great.

So for the longest, I was riding with a 3/4 helmet, and it was more or less roomy enough by my ears to accommodate earbuds. But I made the switch to full face and the earbuds wouldn't fit under the infinitely more snug full face. That's where Cardo came in.I got the HD because radio is neat and I like listening to local stations, and I also have no riding buddies so the range isn't a huge deal for me. I may upgrade the speaker set, but it's not super urgent. The bass boost sucks, though. The other, louder setting is the way to go, in my opinion. Although, I may come back and ammend this once I do get the JBL set, for now, the regular 40mm speakers are quite serviceable.The overall sound quality (once dialed in) reminds me of those headphones that used to come with CD Walkmans back in the 90s. You know the ones. They don't cup your ear, but instead just kinda sit on top of them. These speakers are more or less the same kinda situation, but they're stuffed inside your helmet and, as a result, sound a lot better than those old foam janks.And as far as on the go controls go, as long as you're not trying to do something too terribly complex, the unit suffices for basic control function. Some of the gestures in the instructions look like Naruto hand signs, but I also haven't bothered to memorized them.Voice controls, in my experience, are excellent. I don't know whether me being a woman with a higher voice helps me cut through the static, but the problems other reviews have noted are basically nonexistent for me. Again, your mileage may vary. Having good diction and projecting well will always catch voice recognition's attention better, but it's also a nascent technology with all the issues inherent therein.Overall, the quality is top notch, and I couldn't recommend this enough!

Comfortable comunication device for any helmet

Purchased these before a 2800 mile trip on my bike.Bluetooth connected easily to my IPhone, enabling me to hear text messages and take phone calls.Met up with a friend halfway through the trip that also purchased this unit just for the trip. Bike to bike intercom worked excellent!! We had a great time riding and shooting the bull. Easily connected bike to bike every morning before we headed out to see the sights. As long as we were within a 1/4 mile of each other or line of sight they worked perfectly. Clear conversations without a lot of background noise. Charged them every night and never got below 35% battery. No button to push, just talk into the mic. These made the trip as far as I’m concerned. We could point out wildlife and unique objects in route. Road hazards like gravel in the curves and debris in the roadway. Excellent quality for the price.

Easy Setup, Affordable, Good Sound Quality and Amazing Battery Life

Install was really easy. You just need to know how to take out the liner in your helmet. Slim design makes it look nice. Just make sure you know where you want to place the speakers and mic. Sound quality is really good. Radio works well on it. Took around 10 minutes to install.

Needs better ear phones, very low quality sound

Love it! I have bought 2 so far and plan on buying a third one for my son for his birthday so my husband and 2 sons can communicate while they are out on the motorcycles.

If you just need to listen to music and take calls, this is it.

I bought my Spirit HD on Amazon when it was still $143. Installation on my old LS2 Valiant helmet took less than 10 minutes. It connected easily through the Cardo app, and pairing via Bluetooth was quick and straightforward.

I've owned two Packtalk Bold units in the past, and I can honestly say that while the Spirit HD doesn't have all the features of the Packtalk series, it performs extremely well where it matters. The sound quality is good, the connection is fast, the noise cancellation works great, and the microphone provides excellent call quality.

One common complaint I've seen is that you can't hear music clearly at highway speeds. That wasn't my experience at all. I recently completed a 100-mile ride and had no issues hearing my music. In fact, I actually had to turn the volume down because it was so loud.

If you're trying to decide whether to spend significantly more on a Packtalk model or go with the Spirit HD, I would recommend the Spirit HD. It delivers excellent performance for the price. I'm even considering buying a standard Spirit unit for my second helmet so I have one available for a passenger.

Range is very limited in Intercom mode. Cuts out quickly and only allows two units to link up. Have to upgrade to a more expensive model to be able to have more people in the mode. Very slow customer service and do not honor coupon codes after checkout. The sounds is nice though and the install is simple.

I am very impressed with the loudness and clarity of the speakers, very good sound and am sure is far better than running ear buds. Very comfortable in the ls2 carbon x, don't feel any unwanted pressure on my ears and very pleased with the set up and ease of use. Excellent product! Bite the $150 bullet, you will not regret it!
