Ski Helmet Headphones for Skiers and Snowboarders

A ski helmet intercom lets you talk to your group on the lift line or mid-run, without pulling out your phone. The Packtalk Outdoor mounts to any ski or snowboard helmet, connects up to 15 riders, and answers calls or streams music through Natural Voice Operation, so your hands stay on the poles.

Waterproof JBL Audio for Ski and Snowboard Helmets

Every Packtalk Outdoor runs 40mm JBL speakers built for wind and snow, not a quiet room. The unit is IP67 waterproof and dustproof, rated for up to 10 hours of talk time in cold conditions, with a fast charge that adds 2 hours of talk time in 20 minutes.

FAQ

It depends on how many people you ride with. The Packtalk Outdoor Single covers one rider, the Duo pack pairs two riders out of the box, and the Family Pack connects a group of four. Larger groups can still join the same network, since each unit connects up to 15 riders across a 5km/3-mile group range.

Anyone riding with a partner, a family group, or an instructor who wants to stay connected without stopping. Family Pack buyers connect up to four riders on the same run, so parents can keep track of kids. Easily swap your main unit between gear with the Packtalk Outdoor 2nd Helmet Kit. Perfect for multi-helmet users, this set includes a cradle and audio kit for seamless mounting. The Packtalk Outdoor main module is sold separately.
Riders who mostly want music and calls between runs get the same JBL audio and Natural Voice Operation as the full group setup.

Choose based on your sport, not just your intercom needs. The Packtalk Outdoor pairs with ski and snowboard helmets, uses Dynamic Mesh Communication to connect up to 15 riders, and features IP67 waterproofing built for snow. The Cardo Sync is built for road and gravel cycling, with an open-ear design for traffic awareness, Shimano Di2/STEPS connectivity, and hands-free group communication for up to 30 riders. The two aren't interchangeable: each is tuned for its own helmet type and riding conditions.

*note that Cardo SYNC is not Dynamic Mesh Communication. It is a cellular intercom which requires a cellular network to function
