This was our first Cardo product after always using Sena. WOW , what a difference in quality, sound, and durability. Will never go back to the other brand.
Extremely happy with the Cardo spirit. Great for communicating with a riding partner. Audio is very clear. Easy to install and setup
I have seen the helmet cushions in the motor shops but never been able to buy one. My twin sons wanted a Cardo intercom system for their helmets. I was surprised to see that the helmet cushion came with the Cardo intercom system as a give away.
So far so good!! Ordering and shipping were quick and easy. Installed without issue and the audio clarity is pretty good. I have yet to use it on a group ride but so far so good
Hung a shirt over my helmet with the Packtalk Edge removed and it tangled up in an electrical terminal bending them beyond repair. Cardo sent a replacement very quickly.
This adapter kit is exactly what I needed to mount my new Packtalk Nio's to my half helmets.. Everything works great now.
I bought a second cardo pack talk edge system and another helmet cradle kit. The cradle kit is such a useful addition as now I have two full systems plus a third cradle so both my helmets are ready and a spare helmet for my passenger. Flawless performance.
The cardo edge is a great device. It sometimes needs a reset but always connects second time if not first. Clarity, frustrate and a simple menu make it a simple system with great performance.
I now have 2 and cradles on all my helmets.
Cradle arrived quickly. Easy.to install on helmet. Fits original Packtalk perfectly. Customer service when requesting info and ordering was super.
This is my second Shoei Neotech helmet, and while I love the fit, features and quality of my Shoei helmet, I’ve never been a big fan of the integrated comms system. So this time I chose to go with a Cardo PAC talk Edge. However the placement of the unit was less than ideal. Now with this adapter the unit is right where it needs to be!
The **Packtalk Edgephones ORV** are a seriously impressive piece of gear for off-road riders who want solid communication without the hassle of in-helmet setups. Built around Cardo’s proven Packtalk Edge unit, these over-ear headphones are purpose-built for dusty, loud, and unpredictable environments—and they deliver.
Right away, the build quality stands out. The headset is sturdy, folds flat for easy storage, and includes thick, replaceable ear cushions that block a good amount of outside noise. The magnetic "Air Mount" for the Edge unit is simple but effective—no clips or snaps to fumble with, even with gloves on. The whole thing feels like it was designed by someone who actually rides in the real world.
Audio quality is surprisingly good. The 40mm JBL speakers are loud and clear, even in a noisy side-by-side or UTV. Voices come through crisp, and music doesn’t sound tinny like it does with some cheaper headsets. The mic works well too—it picks up your voice without amplifying the engine noise or wind, which is key when you’re trying to coordinate on the trail.
The standout feature, though, is the Dynamic Mesh Communication (DMC). It just works. You can ride in and out of range without needing to reconnect, and linking multiple riders takes seconds. It’s a game-changer if you’re used to finicky Bluetooth systems.
Battery life is solid (about 13–14 hours), the app is easy to use, and voice commands make it mostly hands-free. You can even update the firmware over the air, which is a nice touch.
Overall, if you’re looking for a rugged, plug-and-play comms setup for off-roading—whether for recreation or guiding a crew—the Packtalk Edgephones ORV are absolutely worth it. Not cheap, but the quality and ease of use justify the price.
Friends spoke highly of the Cardo system and I love mine. So far I have used it in my street bike and off road and very happy with the product!
The noise canceling and music share are a game changer for our 4x4 experience. We upgraded from helmet com to the headphones and are beyond happy. Hoppy more in our gang will move up so we can use the group features.
