45mm Audio Kit with Sound by JBL

I upgraded from a Sena 30k to a packtalk Pro. I got these speakers for my half helmet. They sounds great! I would definitely recommend. I had to adjust the placement a little but it made a huge difference. So if yours don’t sound impressive, try adjusting the placement. I moved mine up about a quarter an inch if that and it made a huge difference.

Definitely better sounding than the original speakers that came with it. I would even say it is a must have item after hearing the difference.

I just installed my brand new JBL 45mm speakers into my helmet and then went for a ride. The experience was absolutely incredible. I cannot believe the difference these 45mm's make. If you have the ability to upgrade to the 45mm, by all means, get to it!! Not only did it increase the volume, but it also kicked the fidelity way up!! Just love these. Thank you Cardo, and JBL!!

Installed in a full face Harley helmet. They installed quickly and sound fantastic

Solid speakers. Can be used on anything with a headphone jack, but sounds best with a FIIO BTR5. I first tried with a cheap Bluetooth receiver (see pic) and it sounded thin and barely loud enough to hear over my bike, more annoying than enjoyable. Then I added a cheap inline headphone amp (see pic) based on a review for these speakers.. it increased the volume but still sounded like a tin can and would distort at the desired volume. No bueno. I then semi-splurged on the BTR5 and lemme tell ya….. it’s the real deal. Doesn’t have the full thump of high-end over ear headphones that create a seal around your ears, but it definitely sounds amazing. Maybe better than my Beats Fit Pro earbuds. The EQ settings are nice. Speaker placement directly over the ears is important. These speakers can sound really good but you need a quality BT receiver/amplifier to drive them. I dunno how the Cardo unit compares, it could be awesome too, but I’be heard varying reviews and I didn’t want to deal with the intercom stuff.

I just bought Cardo Packtalk bold and was impressed by JBL drivers. Immediately, I decided to buy this 45mm. The sound is very good for all genres. I can say sound quality is very close to my Sennheisers

I legitimately purchased a set of Cardo JBL speakers second-hand. The speakers work, but I am unable to activate the JBL audio profiles because the QR code was already used by the previous owner.

I believe it is unfair for a physical accessory to have some of its features permanently locked after a legitimate resale. The speakers continue to work, so the restriction is clearly not technical; it only prevents access to the JBL audio profiles in the app.

This would be somewhat more understandable for a complete device linked to a serial number, but for a simple pair of speakers, it is very difficult to accept.

I kindly request a solution or a new activation code.

Installes this 45 mm version and the sound is great. I would recommend this upgrade.

These speakers are night and day compared to the 32mm speakers that come with the Spirit model. The audio profiles that are included work great with the style of music I listen to. Definitely a great upgrade for the Cardo systems!!

Bought the Freecom 2 last year. Not sure what size speakers were in there but absolutely no base and too much treble.
Just installed these 45mm and what a difference.

I just installed these New JBL speakers into my helmet and they are absolutely incredible. The sound difference is amazing from the old speakers. I have the G9X and they work Great.

It’s stupid loud! (In a good way). I can literally open my helmet visor and use them as speakers when set on the “loud” audio profile. Just make sure you don’t miss that QR code to unlock audio profiles…I did that on my last pair and I just realized how much I was missing out. The loud setting makes a huge difference.
