Excellent sound quality

Slightly Disappointed, even with great customer service over the phone

First of all, I really feel bad only giving a 4 star review. I lost my Cardo Transmitter/Receiver unit and called customer service. They were kind enough to give me a discount on a new unit and I was very appreciative since it was still a sizable investment. When I received the unit it had a small ding in it (which is why I was slightly disappointed). It makes me wonder if they sent me a refurbished unit and not a new one. It seems to work okay for the most part. With that being said, I have to say that I do love what the Cardo has done for our (my son and I) riding experience. A year ago at age 58 I decided I wanted to get a dirt bike after not owning one since I was 13. It had been a lot of years of lost riding time and I figured it was now or never. My son had bought his first bike a few years prior and I really wanted to ride with him and make great memories with him just as my dad had ridden with me when I was young. Those are some of my fondest memories of my father who has now passed on (my dad was like Evel Knievel in my eyes). Since getting my bike my son introduced me to the Cardo and even teamed up with my wife to purchase one for me for fathers day. Now when we ride we are able to enjoy the experience on a deeper level and it comes in real handy for safety purposes when someone goes down or even when we just want to throw jokes back and forth as we ride. My son and I are closer than ever before. Now my goal is to keep riding long enough that I will be able to ride with my grandkids and continue to make great memories (of course we will all be using Cardos). That is why when I lost my first Cardo I knew I couldn't ever ride without one. Thank you for a great product....and great memories!

Bad Cardio

Purchased unit 3 years ago and charging port fell out. What the ….
