I use an HD half Helmet which has ear pockets (zip). At 65 mph the sound is excellent. Listen to tunes or podcast at 1/4 volume, wearing earplugs is not a problem either. Phone calls are not an issue at speed. I did find myself holding the mic close to my mouth, almost touching my upper lip to lessen the wind around the mic but the person at the other end had no problem hearing me. And if your other other helmet is a full helmet, you can probably get away with just adding a speaker set as the base Cardo kit has a few helmet attachments along with 2 mic's to choose from. Highly recommend.

The duo pack is the best bang for your buck. I’ve been using Cardo products for 10 years and they just keep getting better and better.

Love the quality, functions and usage. But after a year of owning it won’t turn on unless it’s plugged it. I should’ve kept the receipt…

Great comm device! I have charged mine hundreds of times over 80,000 miles of riding and the battery life is getting a little shorter finally, but it has served me well.

Install was fairly simple and I have found it easy to use so far.

Purchased Cardo fort the first time. First time using an audible device while snowmobiling. I must say the clarity of the device was superb for most of the time. There where periods of static, which none of us knew what was causing it. But it would come and go. The only other negative was the distance between sleds where connection was lost. I thought the distance would have been greater than what it was, which was a negative to those that ride slower. We would lose contact with them until we waited at every junction for them to catch up. Other than that the device exceeded my expectations.

Quality item for the most part .. well constructed, great battery life.. acceptable range... My only real issue is the lack of volume control. If there is a way to separate music volume from communication volume, while using a streaming service like Pandora, I can't seem to figure it out. I don't see a way to do so in the app or with the controls.

It's a good system easy to install and the quality seems like its going to last a long time.i highly recommended it for music or passenger,group riding.

Purchased this in support of The Rolling Barrage ride for veterans and first responders. We use Packtalk Edge for communication with our road safety crew. The mesh communication system works well keeping 100 riders safe across Canada every August!

Happy with the unit. Sound is decent and all functions work as advertised.
Range to communicate with lesser models is average at 500m max. The connector plug for the microphone is delicate - I damaged the tiny pins and had to use the one out of my second helmet kit...will request a replacement mic.

Had Sena in the past. A great upgrade. Sound quality is awesome. Hightly recommended

If it wernt for my helmet and cardo pack talk edge i wouldnt be here, i hit a deer on my bike at 10:30 at night and having the cardo pack talk edge on my helmet was a life saver and allowed me to contact the right people, thank you cardo!

I'm blown away how great this product is. I did 250miles yesterday and chatted with my buddy on the other bike while listening to Sirius radio. So amazing

Just got back from a three week trip to Tuktoyaktuk. The units were easy to set up and operate. They made the trip safer and more fun with being able to communicate instantly. The battery life is about 12 hours, which we exceeded some days but a quick 20 min charge while at a gas stop got us through the day.

The option to have built in speakers is so much better than having to chase my ear buds every time I take off my helmet. Bought an extra helmet kit for my dirtbike helmet and also enjoy the ability to stay in contact with the group since a lot more chaos can occur in the woods and mountains.

The battery life is great. Has plenty of functions with ease of access. Once I learned how the voice function worked it was a game changer. People always said how well cardo work and I’m a believer after getting this one.
